Just on the brink of that blissful place between being awake and being fast asleep, just out of the grasp of reality lies a place that is full of impossible things. Even the wildest dreams of the freest spirit cannot fathom the aspects in this marvelous, fun, and terrifying land. The place where flowers can be taller than people, people can choose how tall or small they are with the simple nibble of a mushroom, and caterpillars lounge about smoking Hookah. In this spectacular place the cats smile wide, the do-do bird still sings, and there’s always time for tea. Hatters are mad, rabbits are late, and curiosity most certainly does not kill the cat. 

 

This lovely land where your reflection lives is full of the wonders and marvels that your mind is not yet ready to see, but it cannot wait to see either. Riddles and games will leave you questioning your sanity, and the mazes are never ending. Each new guess is a new adventure and each mistake is a lesson well learned.

 

But before stepping through that looking glass, because the land on the other side looks so tempting with its unbirthdays, tea times, and cute white rabbit, be warned. This land is ruled by the Queen of Hearts. While her name sounds quiet loving she would sooner remove your head rather than comfort your heart. Do not always trust what you see, for the little messages that say ‘Drink Me’, ‘Try Me’, ‘Eat Me’ all change you in some way. You never know if you will do something that cannot be undone. 

 

So while you’re standing in the mirror and seeing all the impossible things your reflection might enjoy, take caution before stepping through. This is Wonderland, and the joke just might be on you.
